Send me a Memory has been a year long labor of love and now we are in the final stretch. Some of the delays in forward movement were caused by the very same issues that gave me the idea in the first place, and which is ironic but also leads me to believe this is a product with a real audience. In many cases over the last 12 months, disruptions in production have been the result of someone’s cognitive disconnect, which is exactly what this site exists to overcome.

Because so many people are reaching an age where memory may not be as reliable as it has been in the past we set out to provide a platform where someone could easily mail a physical letter without the extra overhead associated with hand-written communication. I know how crazy that sounds but it is the truth. Hand writing a letter to send someone in place of email seems like a chore, especially when it’s so easy to whip off an email or text message to a loved one and know they get your communications in a heartbeat.

But what about the people who don’t remember that you called, even if it was yesterday? Or, the people who can’t get to a computer to read email?

Sign up for an account, or even just try the service without an account. Send your mom or grandfather a physical letter with a message of love or hope on real paper, in a nice envelope. They’ll think they still matter. Or, even if your intended recipient is still active on the computer they’ll think you took some extra time out of a busy day to reach out to them. Think about your own mental picture of holding a letter in your hands, it carries more weight somehow. It’s more meaning full and even seems more “official”. Try us out today – see what happens when you reach out to someone with a physical letter.

Try us out today – see what happens when you reach out to someone with a physical letter. See how they feel when they get a note from you on real paper. There is still a place in this world for mail, physical communication shows your loved one you want them to know they matter.

We’re almost there so check back soo!
